Greetings! Its come around again, so lets get started...
The Pool is Leaking!
Test footage for a Deadpool movie has leaked. Get the title? As in pool. As in water. And leaking. Like the DeadPOOL footage? Forget you then! Anyway, Ryan Reynolds plays the title role, but better than he did in X-Men Origins (Weapon 11...shudder). Its all CGI as its just test footage but it is very funny. For example, Deadpool shows a guy a crude crayon drawing of him decapitating said guy, before proceeding to do so. As a fan of the comic books, I know about how he is, but I cant help think what the public would think of how he enjoys killing. The footage has now been taken off the web. |
One More Journey
The first trailer for the final instalment of The Hobbit trilogy has been released. It features a lot of action sequences and speeches about war. This is all due to the topic of the final movie, The Battle of the Five Armies, which is also the title. It does look pretty epic with all of those battle scenes, and it is sad that there will be no more Middle Earth movies after this. Unless The Silmarillion is in the works? Hmm? Yeah, I doubt it too... |
The Possible Impossible Set
Great, now impossible doesn't sound like a real word. Yes, another 5'' set has been revealed (so much for no 5''). This two pack includes The 11th Doctor from The Snowmen and Oswin Oswald from Asylum of the Daleks. So we finally get a 5'' Clara...sort of. The description says this is Clara but we all know its technically Oswin. This set was supposed to be a SDCC 2014 exclusive but didn't end up being that. Its currently up for pre-order at £29.99 which makes it look a bargain compared to the overpriced Time of the Doctor set. Best of all though is...the Soufflé accessory! |
So that's it. The trouble is, do I get The Impossible Set, or wait for a Capaldi and Clara two pack, as this seems inevitable with both now having 5'' sculpts. Also, to follow up on the Deadpool footage, a trailer also leaked for Superman V Batman: Dawn of Justice, but this was taken down before I got a chance to see it. Well, enjoy your week and keep an eye out for a Funko review later in the day.
Until then,
See Ya!
